At GLR Custom Cabinetry we take pride in our rich heritage of woodworking craftsmanship spanning over 80 years. Our journey began in 1935 when our cabinet shop crafted wooden toys for children, and since then, we’ve evolved to create fine furniture and custom cabinetry that stands the test of time.

Our skilled artisans handcraft every piece using solid lumber and ¾” plywood, ensuring durability and elegance.

Meet Corie, Our Cabinet Engineer
Meet Corie, our cabinet engineer and the person who turns your ideas into a plan our team can build.
With a B.S. in Interior Design and a strong attention to detail, Corie works with clients in our Kannapolis design studio to develop their cabinetry from the ground up. She builds each project in SketchUp before any lumber is cut, working through the layout, dimensions, materials, and details to make sure everything is right before it reaches the shop.
Once the design is finalized, Corie works directly with our craftsmen during build reviews, walking through the plans and making sure the details of your design are clearly communicated to the team building your cabinets. Because our design studio and cabinet shop are connected, there is constant communication between the people designing your cabinetry and the people building it.
That collaboration is important to us. We don’t believe great custom cabinetry happens by simply passing plans from one person to the next. It happens when our team works together, asks questions, catches details, and takes ownership of the finished product.
Corie is a big part of that process—and she truly embodies our motto: Doing the Little Things.
